Glossary

Symbols Items Meaning
I OMAX Maximum load current The effective Value of the maximum current that can continuously flow into the output terminals under specified cooling conditions.
V DRM Repetitive peak off-state voltage
Maximum voltage with repeatability that can be applied continuously between the output terminals.
I SURGE Non-repetitive surge current
Maximum current without repeatability, that is based on designated conditions. Normally this is expressed as the wave height value of one power frequency current sinusoidal cycle.
f Frequency Frequency of power supply.
V IMAX Maximum input voltage
Maximum input voltage across the SSR input terminals.
R IN Input impedance Resistance of current limiting resistor used in the SSR input side.
V ISO Dielectric strength
The effective AC voltage that the SSR com withstand when it is applied between the input terminals and output terminals or
I/O terminals and metal housing (heat sink) for more than laminate.
R ISO Insulation resistance
The resistance between the input and output terminals or I/O terminals and metal housing (heat sink) when DC voltage is imposed.
T OPR Operating temperature
Ambient temperature range over which the SSR operates normally under the specified heat dissipation and load current
conditions.
T STG Storage temperature
Ambient temperature range over which the SSR can be safely stored for extended periods without sustaining damage or performance degradation.
V O Load voltage range
Output supply voltage range in which the SSR operates normally, AC voltage is specified in RMS units.
I LEK Off state leakage current
Current that flows in the SSR output circuit when the specified supply voltage is applied to the output with no input voltage applied.
V SAT On state voltage drop Output voltage drop caused by a specified load current supplied to the SSR output which is turned on by a specified input voltage . AC voltage is specified in RMS units.
I OMIN Minimum load current Minimum load current at and above which the SSR operates normally under the specified temperature conditions. AC current is specified in RMS units.
V I Input voltage range The permissible voltage range with in which the voltage of on input signal voltage may fluctuate.
V P Pick up voltage Minimum input voltage when the output status changes from ON to OFF.
V D Drop out voltage Maximum input voltage when the output status changes from ON to OFF.
T ON Turn on time Time until the SSR output turns on after Time until the SSR output turns on after the specified input voltage is applied.
T OFF Turn off time Time until the SSR output tarns off after the specified input voltage is removed
C IO Capacitance input to output Capacitance between the input and output terminals
- Zero cross A function which starts operation with the AC load voltage at close to Zero-phase
